Oh, the conundra of that conflict-of-interest bugaboo. Who, me, conflicted? No. Not much. So here goes, a bit of publicity. It has been brought to The Tracker’s attention that over at Nature.com is a new blog called The Great Beyond that comments on science news, links to media accounts, and gets little pictures for spice. It has sub-categories of news, an RSS feed, archives, the whole works. Postings, so far, are signed by Daniel Cressey. He is quite good at it, judging by results so far. He has for instance a sterling item on moose and climate change missed here. Well, The Tracker has two newspapers hitting the front steps every day and reads’em both so no reason readers can’t follow both of these science news web logs too. No reason at all: both of them. Welcome to the genre, Mr. Cressey. Plenty of fish out there. We can filch from one another too. Win win.
