BBC: One veteran news reporter’s word from inside the Copenhagen hot house
The Tracker was thinking of skipping doing any posts today on the COP-15 meeting in Copenhagen. It runs till the end of next week and that’s when the big news, if any, is most likely.
Then I came across a fine running commentary and perspective-setting and explainer at BBC. It’s from Richard Black, the beeb’s environmental correspondent. Anyone trying to watch the meeting from afar – or perhaps even from inside it – should add this to their blogroll. As of this writing, the post he placed at 1439 CET is particularly good as a lucid explanation of the meeting’s structure and where the most shouting will occur. This may be hardly the best place to go for a quick fix on Copenhagen, but it’s solid.
